Eurosonic booker Robert Meijerink has followed the Norwegian music scene for several years. He is very happy with this year's booking:

- The Norwegian selection for Eurosonic Noorderslag 2012 is bursting with potential. The selection shows that Norway excels in many musical styles. Young musicians who are ready to convince the world of their qualities, he says in a comment.

An important element in Eurosonic is the European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP). The intention is to promote bands and artists through festivals, radio and media in Europe. The fact that all the largest festivals attend Eurosonic makes it an even more attractive place for showcasing. Music Export Norway is among 15 partners who have ensured funding for the ETEP program through EU funding.
